Welcome:
President Chad Hill opened the meeting at 7:02pm.

Secretary’s Report:
A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes of the February 6, 2007 meeting as presented.
Vote: Unanimous

 

Treasurer’s Report:
A motion was made and seconded to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.
Vote: Unanimous

Communications:

Parks & Recreation Directors report:

Baseball/ Softball:
Litchfield Cal Ripken meeting was held directly before the Recreation meeting.
Please see minutes of that meeting.

Information was given concerning the coach’s clinic being held by Bill Fairchildat Oak Hill High School.

The new age requirements for Cal Ripken were discussed and the trickle affect it will cause.
A discussion was held about moving players up due to ability per director and coaches recommendation.

 

Woodbury Pond Park:
A request was made through the Town Manager asking to open up the gates at Woodbury Pond Park so that ice shacks and fishermen can use it.

A motion was made and seconded to deny the request.
Vote: Unanimous
