Litchfield Planning Board Minutes
June 18, 2007

1.0 Meeting convenes at 6:15 p.m. at the Litchfield Town Office
1.1 Members present: Eric Seaman (chair), John Hatch, Judy Rogers, Mike
Seaman; Robert Gordon's absence is excused. No guests attending.

3.0 Agenda Additions/Adjustments
5.1 Prohibited Officers

4.0 Scheduled Business
4.1 Shoreland Zoning Ordinance passes at Annual Town Meeting. The map and
Ordinance are on the way to MDEP.
5.1 Planning Board Ordinance - Sect. 2E - Municipal Officer may not be a
member or associate member. John made a motion to direct a 2-part question
to MMA: A) need the definition of a municipal officer (as relative to PBO)
B) IF school board member is considered a municipal officer - can PBO be
amended to allow school board member on PB. Motion 2nd by Mike, and vote
4-0-0.

2.0 Minutes of March 5, 2007 submitted for approval. Judy made a motion and
Mike 2nd to approve as written. Vote 4-0-0. Minutes of May 7, 2007
submitted for approval. John made a motion to approve as written and Judy
2nd. Vote 3-0-1.

4.2 Discussion of planning direction. The consensus of the board is to
begin review of the Subdivision Ordinance as of September 2007. The board
would like to have an editable, electronic copy available. Eric encourages
board members to study and familiarize themselves with the Subdiv. Ord.
8.0 Eric made a motion to adjourn at 7:45 p.m. John 2nd, and vote 4-0-0.
