Litchfield Planning Board Minutes
April 16, 2007

1.0 Meeting convenes at 6:15 p.m. at Litchfield Town Office.

1.1 Members present: Eric Seaman (chair), Judy Rogers (vice-chair), John
Hatch, Robert Gordon and Mike Seaman; secretary Lezley Sturtevant.
Alternate Marvin Allen is excused.

4.0 Scheduled Business

4.1 Planning Board Ordinance - after review the board instructed secretary
to edit a typo in the ordinance draft. Ordinance is ready for a public
hearing to be held in the future and then a vote to recommend changes to the
Selectmen.

4.2 Shoreland Zoning Ordinance - the board reviewed the proposed draft and
made a few additional changes. A motion was made by Eric to remove 4(a)
under Noise, Judy 2nd the motion and vote was 5-0-0. Any other potential
changes can be made at the public hearing, unless they are significant, then
a second public hearing will be necessary. The board decided to go ahead
with a public hearing at the May 7th meeting. Shoreland Zoning maps have
been completed for the public hearing. Limited Commercial was removed and
replaced with Limited Residential. A current Shoreland Zoning mylar could
be edited by KVCOG and then create new maps using the mylar.

7.0 Future Agenda Items

7.1 Meetings in May - the first meeting on the 7th will be normal business
meeting, but could cancel planning meeting if board agrees. In June the
board can meet for both meetings should it be necessary after the Town
Meeting.

8.1 Robert made a motion to adjourn at 8:12 p.m., and Mike 2nd. Vote 5-0-0.
