1.0 Meeting convenes at 6:02 p.m. at the Litchfield Town Office

1.1 Members present: Eric Seaman (chair), Judy Rogers, John Hatch, Mike Seaman; Robert Gordon’s absence is excused.

5.1 Dept of Environmental Protection – memo

4.0 Scheduled business

4.1 Subdivision Ordinance review. Board begins with Section 7 and decides to closely review Sect 7 A & B; Sect 8 needs scrutiny; Sect 9 & 10 need to be checked for correctness. The board agrees that special attention needs to be given to Open Space: recreation and its importance, rural character as Comprehensive Plan “defines” (what is rural character?). The chair asks members if there is an interest in using a planner for making significant changes to the Ordinance, and or guidance. John suggests discussing the purpose of the Subdivision Ordinance at the next meeting – brainstorming. Mike will be able to make the November 5 th meeting.
